Step 1 of 4

Create your accounts 📱

Create brand new TikTok and Instagram accounts just for this program. These accounts must be used exclusively for Cantina content — don't post anything else on them.

Exception: If you have an old account you're no longer using, you may repurpose it — but only if you have permission from any previous brand it was used for, and it must be used for Cantina content only going forward.
Important: Your accounts should look like a real person's page — not a brand, business, or UGC portfolio. Don't put "Cantina" anywhere in your handle or bio.

Step 2 of 4

Pick your username ✏️

Pick something that fits your track:

  • Talking Head track: Use a value-driven name that hints at your niche — @techwithsara, @sarahtechnews, @aicreatorsara
  • Skit track: Use a casual spam/alt-style name — @sarahs_spam, @sarahs_alt, or literally any random name
Don't do this:
@cantinacreator   @sarahforcantina   @cantina_sara
⚠️ Do not change your username after submitting. Your username is used for tracking and analytics. Once you submit your handles to us, do NOT change your username or create another account without confirming with the team first — otherwise your progress may not be tracked accurately.

Step 3 of 4

Set up your profile 🪞

📸 Profile photo

Use a real selfie or photo of yourself — must be a genuine photo that looks natural. Don't use AI-generated images or anything artificial. It doesn't need to be the same across both platforms.

✏️ Bio

For Talking Head: Your bio should reflect the niche or value that your account provides — e.g. "Tech news and AI updates" or "Using AI to run my life".

For Skit: Bio doesn't matter as much, but keep it authentic.

Don'ts:
  • DON'T tag @Cantina in your bio
  • DON'T add email addresses, personal account tags, or unrelated links
  • The only link in your bio should be cantina.com

Step 4 of 4

Warm up your accounts 🔥

Before posting any Cantina content, spend about a day warming up your accounts. This tells the platforms you're a real person.

  1. Scroll your FYP/Explore page — engage with real creators. Watch valuable, high-quality content for at least 30 seconds each, then leave a like, comment, and save or repost a few. Scroll past memes or anything unserious. You want to prove you're using the platforms educationally.
  2. Follow relevant creators — find top creators in trusted niches like tech, marketing, or AI education. Follow them and engage with a few of their posts. Leave thoughtful comments.
⚠️ Don't engage with AI slop. Only engage with high-quality, educational content about AI and tech — not low-effort AI-generated videos.
  3. Search for educational content — search for tech news, marketing, and educational AI content (not AI slop) and interact with posts. Like, save, comment — but don't spam.
  4. Post 2 warm-up videos — these don't need to mention Cantina. Create videos in the niche you want to build. You can reuse an old video, record something casual, or follow a trending audio. Use relevant hashtags. Get them approved by your coach before posting.
Good to know: Your warm-up videos count toward your monthly total and base pay. They're just not eligible for performance bonuses — unless there's a top comment about Cantina (pinned on IG).
No shortcuts. Never use view farms, automation, or fake engagement. Keep it real.
🎉

You're all set up!

Submit all videos to #submit-videos-here in Discord and wait for approval from your coach before posting.
