What is Cantina?

Cantina is a social AI platform where you create lifelike digital characters — give them a face, a voice, a personality, a backstory — and bring them to life. Your characters can talk, perform, send video messages, and interact with people in real time.

Cantina is building what they call the Character Economy — a new creative medium for expressive, lifelike digital characters. They call it UGI (User-Generated Identity): the idea that you don't need to show your face to build a presence online. You create a character, give it depth, and let it grow its own audience.

Characters on Cantina have real agency. They get followers. They go viral. They become their own thing entirely.

You'll be placed on one of two tracks based on your strengths.

Educational Track

This is for creators who are good at breaking things down and speaking on camera with authority. Think: reporting on what's happening in AI and tech, explaining how to use Cantina, walking through use cases, giving takes on industry news. The vibe is informative, clear, and confident — you're the person people trust to tell them what's going on.

Skit / Comedy Track

This is for creators who lean more into characters, humor, and entertainment. Think: brainrot, skits, funny scenarios built around Cantina and AI culture. The vibe is creative and unhinged (in a good way) — you're making people laugh while putting Cantina in the picture.

Do I need content creation experience?▼
Experience is preferred. That being said, we provide the resources for new creators to get started through viral script examples, coaches, and feedback on all your content!
Do I use my personal TikTok/Instagram?▼
No, we require all creators to create brand new accounts dedicated to this program. We'll walk you through how to set them up!
How does payment work?▼
The standard base pay is $1,000/month, not including bonuses. This is paid in 2 installments — one on the 15th and one on the last day of the month. You receive the full amount as long as you're keeping up with posting 2 videos a day. View bonuses are calculated at the end of the month and paid out once a month.
Do warmup videos count toward pay?▼
Yes — your 2 warmup videos count toward your monthly total and base pay. They're just not eligible for performance bonuses.
Where do I find video ideas?▼
We drop video ideas and briefs in Discord throughout the week.
What if I miss a day?▼
You can post up to 3 videos in a single day to make up for it. You must communicate your intent to miss to the team beforehand. Videos past 3 a day, even if it's in an effort to catch up, are not eligible for payment.
Do I need products to film?▼
Nope — Cantina is an app on your phone. You can download it and create AI characters and video messages for free. If you run into usage limits, let the team know and we'll sort it out.
When do I sign the contract?▼
You'll receive your contract in Discord after you finish reading this guide.
